glock 36

I purchased a set for my glock 36. The front sight screw does not allow the barrel to seat properly, causing the the slide not to be able to be reattched. I have contacted the company in regards to the issue because they advertise these sights as all glock 45's. Not true. I had to buy a competitor's front site, costing another $42. If you have a glock 36, go with the Ameriglo tritium, brighter, and made specifically for the model of your gun.

Meprolight Tru-Dot Adjustable Sight HK USP Tactical

While these sights do glow brilliantly and installed with very little trouble at all, I have found a problem with this particular design in all three of the H&K USP Tactical .45s I''ve installed these on. The rear sight, bottomed-out as far as its height-adjustment screw will take it, still isn''t far enough to get a proper sight alignment at 25 yards. Either the front sight needs to be higher (preferable, of course), or that rear sight needs to be on a taller base. The factory sights had lots of adjustment room in them, and all three of them shot pretty much to point-of-aim at 25 yards with a few different 230-grain rounds. But these Meprolights require the shooter to adjust his/her sight picture in order to make the things work. Of all of the Meprolight night sights I''ve installed, these are the only ones that have been a problem. That rear sight needs to be able to click down about half a dozen more ticks than it''s able to do in order for things to line up properly.
